This means a 3D television without glasses, which means no more fuss with those uncomfortable glasses. The glasses for 3D televisions would only allow a limited number of viewers to enjoy their favorite programs on a 3D television. You had to buy those extra pairs of glasses for members of your family and add to your expenses.

Television makers like Philips, Toshiba and Sony are going to remove the problematic glasses of 3D television. They are making a 3D television that will not need any glasses for getting the 3D experience. They are going to use a technology for Auto stereoscopic viewing that means you will be able to get the thrills of the 3D effect without the glasses. It is popularly called Auto 3D. This 3D television without the glasses is going to reduce your uneasiness like headache and strained eyes as the 3D effect will be seen with your naked eyes. As the giants in television market are yet to introduce their 3D television without glasses, a company in China, called TCL has already brought out a 42 inch 3D television which you can view without glasses, in the Chinese market. It costs a $20,000 and the model name is TD-42F. Samsung has also brought out a 3D television which has a screen as wide as 50 inches and will not need the glasses but they have not announced to make it for home use, they have just come out with a model for commercial usage only.

As, the glasses that are used for 3D television are expensive and fragile, even uncomfortable to wear, Sony is also going to introduce a 3D television that won’t need those glasses. Its 3D LED televisions are priced at $1,000 to $4,000 this 3D television will be sold at a price of somewhere about $1,500. The 3D images will be seen from some particular positions for viewing. This technology will not get your eyes strained by watching the 3D images on your television.

Philips calls its 3D television without glasses, as WOWvx. As the announcement by Philips, this will give you 3D images and motion irrespective of your position or wherever you might be seated. You will be able to enjoy the thrill of 3D from any corner of your room. This 3D television without glasses by Philips will have a 42inch screen size and the prices are yet to be disclosed. They have used the technology of placing small lenses on each of sub pixels that count up to millions, projecting light all the way through the front of display at one of the nine angles.

Though these televisions have some time before they hit the market, it is already proving to be a great news for people who love the 3D television and its experience. For those who haven’t yet invested in the 3D television, it seems there patience will be paid, soon.
